BILLY shelf is a well known design-classic in the IKEA family collection, which the majority are familiar with. The simplicity and the well-chosen proportions in this shelf made me wants to re-design, by modernizing with new materials and aesthetics. With colored resin sheets together with steel wires create transparency and a lightweight impression. I would like to call the new version naked BILLY.
