The project was based on combining 3D printing and traditional casting methods. Design contribution for GBG FORM 2021 (Bro & Bölja) was nominated for the competition to become Gothenburg’s 400th anniversary product. I created two cups that symbolize the bridges and the sea that stretches along the center of Gothenburg. In contrast to each other that highlights differences.
BRO - Has two handles that provide stability for the hand, which symbolizes the city’s dependence on bridges and resembles in the form of two bridges.
BÖLJA - Has a shape inspired by the west coast and the sea, an ear that wraps itself softly along the shape.
