In this project, I have focused on two materials used in the industry of mass production. I researched the materials to increase my knowledge of plastic and steel, which resulted in an bench.
I have vacuum-formed plastic into a seat which is 2mm thick. Then filled the form with re-granulate sponsored by Talent Plastic Gothenburg.
The seat surface has a wavy shape that makes the structure more tactile and irregular. It said’s that undulating shapes has a meditative and calm impact on ourself. Why does a seat have to be flat?
